Meet our new addition. This is Hirstmund Barolo or 'Roly' for short. He is a highland pony colt foal and our first non exmoor!

Over moon with our baby boy. Albert won all three of classes in which he was entered. Best Owner bred foal (which was split into small and large foals), Best foal to make under 14.2hh and best Mountain and Moorland foal. He then went reserve champion for his section of classes. Eagle again did us proud by being a relaxed and happy boy.
Albert

Homebred Albert won the Dartmoor and Exmoor Class and went on to be reserve champion Mountain and Moorland (Shetlands and Welsh ponies had their own championships). We are over the moon with him. New boy Dunkery Golden Eagle was also a superstar pony. He took everything in his stride and showed off his new talent trotting in hand.
Today the 25th of October Dunkery Golden Eagle 78/156 joined our herd having passed his foal inspections. A stunning young man who is Ptarmigans nephew.

We took Gaoth and Becks to this show.
Lots of good results.....and we won the trophies for the pony gaining the most points during the day and for the junior exhibitor doing the same
Heres Gaoth admiring his silverware
And the boys grooming. They haven't seen each other for a while as they now live at different yards but they obviously remember each other
Gaoth was 2nd in first ridden, novice ridden, novice working hunter and intro dressage with some thirds in other classes.
Becks was a star. Kept me smiling all day.
We had a great time doing the pairs. Fun fun fun!
A lovely day. Gaoth and Laura again did us proud by taking first place in the Young Handler class amongst stiff competition and they were also 4th in the junior ridden and 6th in the novice ridden.

We had a lovely day despite the muddy ground conditions. Gaoth did us proud by jumping two clears in the WHP and Mouse was an absolute angel all day in what was her first outdoor show for ridden classes.

Marlyn Balivanich ("Bazil") had a rosette filled day. We were 2nd in Senior Condition and Turnout followed by a 2nd in Senior Stallion and Geldings. Another 2nd in fancy dress, 6th in best bred in Scotland, 4th in handy pony, 5th in junior handler and 5th in family pony! What a star!
Fancy Dress

A lovely day at Brinkworth House, Wiltshire.
The boys did us proud being fab 'petting' ponies in the pens and loved being admired.
They took part in both the RDA musical ride and the Grand Parade! Both boys were absolute stars so proud of them.
They were filmed and may be making an appearance on BBC Countryfile in the next couple of weeks.

Heres is Barney being ridden by his new fans

A brilliant day with some fantastic results. First up was the Stallion and Gelding In Hand class in which Dunkery Ptarmigan was 4th and Gaoth 6th. We then took them in the in hand owners/breeders pairs and came third.
In the Novice Ridden Meg Ewins and Gaoth were 4th and Jackie and Ptarmigan 6th and in the Junior Ridden Laura Chilton gave Gaoth a fantastic ride and he won the class. Brilliant!

Little Albert has today been announced the champion in a photo show on the online forum of Richard Maxwell. A brilliant achievement against a whole variety of lovely horses and ponies. We are very pleased with our little man.

A very long but enjoyable day. Gaoth and Laura having a dabble in a variety of disciplines! There best results of the day were 3rd in best rider over 10 years and 2nd in Handy Pony which were both extremely popular classes.

We were very pleased with Lola for coming 2nd in the Exmoor Youngstock class at the Three Counties Show. Clever little girlie!

I was very proud of Annabelle who stood 6th in a strong and large youngstock class of mixed age/mixed large and small breeds. Well done my baby girl!
Lola and Sky stood 4th and 5th in the yearling class at the Bath and West. A fabulous day out despite me feeling very ill!
Well done to Laura and Gaoth for three fourths and a sixth in the jumping classes.

Well done to Laura and Gaoth for a second in the dressage, sixth in the handy pony and a fabulous four firsts and one second in the gymkhana races. This was Gaoths first attempt at all three disciplines and what a little star!
Well done to Laura and Gaoth for a second, fourth and fifth place at this event and a double clear in the biggest class they attempted!

We took Appley Dapply and Lola for a little outing to Hartpury for this show. Both were very well behaved and they were 2nd (Lola) and 3rd (Appley) behind a lovely older Dartmoor pony.
It has been a whole year since the arrival of our first foal last year. Here she is on her birthday

And a few weeks ago (photo taken 24/2/08)

Mouse and Gaoth both went to East Soley to have a go at the Novice Ridden classes. Mouse has only been back from being rebacked for a few weeks and she was an angel and I'm very very proud of her. Gaoth too was a little star. Both qualified in hand for the Ponies UK Winter Champs.
